On Thursday, the Headwaters Tech Hub consortium will officially submit our grant application to the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) for $75 million to advance the work already being done in photonics and sensors in our state.
While you may not be aware of it, Montana is already a global leader in photonics and sensors, and we have seen exponential growth in entrepreneurial activity and businesses around those technologies. What’s important to know is that these technologies are the future for virtually every aspect of our lives, and for our national security.
