ADVOCACY | INFLUENCE
As the voice of business, the Montana Chamber represents you and your business to the state’s legislative, judicial, and executive branches of government. Our Government Affairs team advocates for policies that promote a positive business climate and encourages infrastructure investment. The Montana Chamber:
- Focuses year round on government affairs to garner support for policies that promote a favorable business climate
- Collaborates with Montana’s federal delegation to advance business issues in Congress
- Provides advance access to the Legislative Policy Agenda and Judicial Reviews and continued engagement via roundtables (i.e. Capitol Connection) and programs
- Coordinates annual Business Base (B-Base) study which provides insights from scientific polling of registered Montana voters on key issues for business
- Conducts civil legal engagement on behalf of business
ACCESS TO A STATEWIDE NETWORK
As a member of the Montana Chamber, your organization will gain exposure and network access to Montana public and private sector leaders, and elected officials from across the state. We gather as a community regularly and provide opportunities to build relationships and trust.
- Engage with the Montana Chamber’s owned / earned media such as website (MontanaChamber.com), social media channels, e-newsletters, and public relations
- Receive member pricing for all paid Chamber programs and virtual or in person Signature Events including ‘Business Days at the Capitol,’ and the ‘Titans of Business Oro y Plata Business & Annual Membership Meeting.’
- Gain additional visibility via program underwriting and event sponsorships
- Be eligible for Board of Directors and Volunteer Committee participation

The Montana Chamber provides information and research that:
- Deliver what you need to know to your inbox via the ‘Montana Business Brief’ bi-weekly e-Newsletter, Chamber Blog, and Social Media, including information from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, U.S. Small Business Administration, SBDC, U.S. Economic Development Authority, and more
- Address industry-specific issues relevant to Chamber members via proprietary research including the annual Business Base polling.
