“There are a lot of pieces that came together and if they didn’t come together we wouldn’t be standing here today,” Chvilicek said. The nonprofit secured a $1 million loan from the Gallatin Housing Impact Fund, which was started by First Security Bank in 2022 with the goal of supporting housing work in the region. Family Promise also received funds from the county and city of Bozeman to help make the project work, Chvilicek said.

Family Promise’s campus is the first project the fund has allocated money to, said First Security President Jim Ness.
