BILLINGS, Mont. – The Department of the Navy (DON) Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) and the Montana APEX Accelerator (formerly known as Procurement Technical Assistance Center) will host a small business workshop and GovMatch event Aug. 9 at the Billings Depot.
This event aims to provide valuable information, networking opportunities, and one-on-one meetings with acquisition staff to help small businesses explore business opportunities with the Department of the Navy and other participating agencies.
The small business workshop will feature David E. Walz, Deputy Director Small Business Program at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division in Keyport. As the principal advisor and advocate on small business program matters, Walz will provide essential information on how to do business with the Navy and Marines. Attendees can expect to gain insights into the Department of the Navy Office of Small Business Programs’ achievements and goals, the DON OSBP Mentor-Protégé Program, preparing for the DON procurement process, as well as available resources and assistance for small businesses.
