Daniel (Dan) Brunell joined the Montana Chamber in 2016 and holds more than 15 years of experience in non-profit management, operations, human resource management, financial governance, and communications. Dan oversees the Chamber’s financial planning, human resources, member programs, and the Chamber’s 10-year strategic plan – Envision 2026.
Before joining the Montana Chamber of Commerce, Dan operated his own consulting business – Brunell Creative – where he helped a wide variety of non-profit and commercial clients with their communications, technology strategic planning, and operations needs. From 2003 to 2014, Dan served as the New Media Manager for the Association of Washington Business – the state chamber and manufacturing association in Washington state. In this role, Dan earned more than 20 individual awards for his communications, marketing, and media work – including multiple awards from the University of Missouri’s Magnum Opus awards competition.
Dan earned bachelors’ degrees in photography and history from the University of Oregon in 2003. He also earned a bachelor degree in Business Information Technology Management from Western Governors University in 2014 before graduating from Willamette University’s Atkinson School of Management in 2016 with a Master of Business Administration.
In his off time Dan works on his software start-up firm – Incumbent — and cheers on his beloved Portland Timbers and Portland Thorns football clubs.Contact
