HELENA – The Montana Chamber of Commerce tracks all activities related to business in Montana. With legal reform as part of its Envision 2026 business climate objective, the Chamber is the acting Chair of the Montana Justice Coalition. The Justice Coalition brings together business leaders, attorneys, association directors, and other stakeholders to track Montana’s legal climate, monitor important cases, and develop legal reform measures.

As part of this strategic initiative, The Montana Chamber of Commerce is pleased to partner with Northern Broadcasting System to deliver an opportunity for voters to hear from candidates for the Montana Supreme Court.

Seat #5 is the only competitive election in 2020 for the Court, and all three candidates have agreed to separate interviews on the Voices of Montana radio program starting next week.

The Montana Chamber’s Bridger Mahlum will join Tom Schultz, host of Voices of Montana, to visit with:

Interviews will take place live on each date, starting at 9:22 am MT. Also tune in for a post-series discussion with members of the Montana Chamber’s Justice Coalition.

“We’re very excited to raise awareness about this important race for a seat on our state’s highest court,” said Todd O’Hair, President and CEO of the Montana Chamber. “The Montana Supreme Court is the final stop for litigation in Montana. Permitting disputes, wrongful discharge complaints, and business liability litigation are just a few of the issues that this Court contemplates, with decisions yielding broad implications for Montana’s business climate.”
