Let’s Celebrate Montana Manufacturing

JOIN US, the Montana Chamber of Commerce, on the heels of our successful 2023 Manufacturing & International Trade Day (MITD) as we gather together with our partners at the Montana Manufacturing Extension Center on the eve of their board meeting in Kalispell. We also welcome our local chamber partner Discover Kalispell Chamber, members of both chambers, and any public or private industry representatives who want to be a part of the conversation.

We will come together to create connection among our statewide members and industry partners, and to raise a glass to celebrate Gov. Greg Gianforte signing House Bill No. 212 into law. This legislation reduced the business equipment tax by increasing the exemption from $300,000 to $1,000,000 taking 5,000+ businesses from the tax roll. Having worked on this issue for more than a decade, the Montana Chamber is elated with the outcome.

We encourage you to learn more about our (10) Priority Bills introduced during the 68th Montana Legislative Session as well as those supported and opposed at MontanaChamber.com. From sweeping tort reform to dramatically decreasing the business equipment tax and capital gains tax, to ballot initiative modernization, we are tackling the issues to make Montana the most attractive place to live, work, play, visit, and do business.
