Making valuable connections

Throughout the year, the Montana Chamber offers targeted networking events connecting business and governmental leadership.

Events focus on the four pillars of Envision 2026 – the Montana Chamber’s strategic plan – in addition to trending issues impacting the business community. Attendees will experience networking, education, and interaction with policy makers at the local, state, and federal level. Learn more about each of our anchor events using the links below!

Annual Signature Events

Started as the Centennial Golf Classic during the 100th Celebration of Montana’s statehood in 1989, the Montana Chamber Foundation annually hosts more than 400 golfers, business & government leaders, and policy makers for the tournament.

Every October, the Montana Chamber of Commerce convenes the general membership to elect the Board of Directors, review highlights from the past year, and discuss actions and strategies for the upcoming year. This valuable networking event creates opportunities for business leaders to meet with peers, learn more about Chamber goals and objectives, and hear from industry experts on trending issues such as elections, economy, and more.

In January of every year, the Montana Chamber hosts Business Days at the Capitol. This event coincides with the start of the legislative session (odd-numbered years) and candidate filing (even-numbered years) with a focus on legislative and public policy issues relevant to business. Traditional seminars include ‘Eggs & Issues’ with the legislative leadership and the ‘Last Word’ by the Governor.  An evening of networking rounds out this event.

Manufacturing & International Trade Day recognizes titans of industry – manufacturers and exporters. This biennial event invites organizations to showcase their business and products at the Trade Show. Solution oriented seminars, tailored to specific manufacturing and trade issues, take place during the day.  Held during the legislative session, lawmakers are invited to an evening reception with vendors and seminar attendees.
