(Helena, MT) – The Montana Chamber Foundation is proud to announce the winners of the 2024 Grand Champion high school pitching competition, Kyler Petronek of TipSense from Simms and Coleton Sherman of Sherman Angus LLC from Ronan. These innovative student-led businesses were awarded $5,000 each for their outstanding entrepreneurial endeavors for new and existing businesses, respectively. The final pitch and award determinations took place on Monday, May 20, at the MSU Jake Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship in Bozeman, Montana.
The competition saw the top five winners of The Prospects Awards virtual competition in the New and Existing Business categories and President’s Hustle, compete for the title of Grand Champion and a total of $15,000 in cash awards for first and second-place winners. Second place and $2,500 went to Kaydence Timbrook, P n K Bakery (new) in Missoula and Juliaah Villanueva, Beatriz Mexican Sweets + More (existing) in Billings. All participating students also received a $1,000 scholarship to Montana State University, should they choose to enroll, further supporting their educational and entrepreneurial journeys.
