The last week in July brings the biggest business weekend in the state with the MT Chamber Foundations’ Governors’ Cup Golf Tournament. And what a week it will be! 81 five person teams comprised of business leaders, candidates and elected officials will dominate three golf courses in the beautiful Flathead Valley for fun and business networking.
Thursday kicks off the big weekend with the Chamber Foundation’s Mid-Year Economic Update at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kalispell, with a timely presentation on the Montana economy and the cost of housing presented by Montana’s Chief Economist Barb Wagner.
We are honored to have Governor Gianforte join us at the luncheon and deliver remarks on his Administration’s priorities and ongoing efforts to make Montana a business friendly destination. From the Hilton Garden Inn, we move to the Glacier Bank Ace in the Hole Reception (formerly known as the Sandbaggers’ Reception) on the campus of Flathead Valley Community College. With golfers and guests, we are preparing for a record breaking turnout, with early numbers showing we’ll hit the 700 attendee mark.
Governor Gianforte, Lt. Governor, and much of the cabinet, legislators, along with CEO’s and other business leaders will converge in what is the biggest business reception and BBQ of the year.
The Governors’ Cup Golf Tournament is an example of what we do best at the Montana Chamber of Commerce—Convene. Over the years, the Montana Chamber of Commerce has built a reputation and carefully cultivated the authority to bring together diverse business and government leaders.
