The Governors’ Cup is the largest business sporting event in the state, sponsored by the Montana Chamber Foundation. The lowest net and lowest gross scores after two days of play are named the Grand Champions of the Governors’ Cup.
“Congratulations to Glacier Bank and Republic Services of Montana for being the 2018 Governors’ Cup Grand Champions,” said Ed Bartlett, the Governors’ Cup Manager. “We had a great three days in the Flathead of networking and golfing. We are already looking forward to coming back next year.”
This year, nearly 400 players on 79 teams turned out to play on golf courses at Eagle Bend in Bigfork, Buffalo Hill in Kalispell and Meadow Lake in Columbia Falls.
The Governors’ Cup is one of Montana’s premier networking opportunities, co-hosted by all the Treasure State’s past governors. Former Govs. Marc Racicot and Stan Stephens were in attendance at the weekend events, which also included recognition of former Governor Judy Martz.
The 2019 Governors’ Cup will return to the Flathead Aug. 1-3, 2019.
