Montana Chamber of Commerce statement on Nebraska PSC approving Keystone XL route

HELENA– On Monday, the Nebraska Public Service Commission approved an alternative route for TransCanada’s Keystone XL oil pipeline.

The Montana Chamber of Commerce released the following statement.

“This is exciting news, as the Keystone XL pipeline will enhance the energy sector that our state and North America needs, in addition to providing high-paying, local jobs for economic growth in Montana,” said Montana Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Webb Brown.”Completion of this project will make a huge difference in achieving the goals of our ten-year strategic plan, Envision 2026.”
