Small businesses realize health insurance coverage with Choices
Montana Chamber Choices was started in May 2004 as an alternative to the small business group insurance plan. Since that time it has grown to over 20,000 lives, more than half of whom were previously not covered by health insurance.
Who Chamber Choices is a fully-insured association health plan designed to meet the needs of businesses with 1-99 employees. The priorities of Chamber Choices are: stable and affordable rates, cover the uninsured, provide choices to small businesses, and promote wellness and prevention.
What Choices offers 11 different medical benefit plan options with preventive dental, base life insurance and a wellness benefit and groups have the opportunity to elect coverage for vision and additional dental. Visit the “2009 Choices Benefit Options” page for more details.

How Employers must pay at least 50% of the employee premium and have over 75% of their employees enrolled to meet Chamber Choices plan eligibility and employers may carve out certain "coverage groups." Those businesses enrolled are eligible for benefits in the Insure Montana program if accepted in the state application process.
Extra MCC is approved by the Insurance Commissioner as a Qualified Association Plan. This qualification will enable your business to apply for tax credits and premium assistance through the Insure Montana program. |
