Covering the Uninsured
Our first priority is to create and maintain health plan options that will increase the number of Montanan’s with health insurance coverage. The stability of Montana Chamber Choices and the emphasis on prevention and wellness help us to realize our goal to cover everyone in Montana.

Choices
In order to keep rates stable and to expand health insurance coverage, we strive to provide several “choices” for small employers because we know that one-size does not fit all. We have 11 different plan options to choose from, including three options with health savings accounts.

Wellness and Prevention
Encouraging our members to seek appropriate preventive care and to take advantage of the $300 wellness benefit available in each health plan* is a cornerstone of how we do business.  Furthermore, as of January 1, 2009 we added an employee assistance program, maternity support, life insurance, preventive dental and colonoscopy screening coverage.

*As of January 1, 2010 a new third competitively priced, qualified, high deductible, health plan with an health savings account was added.  This streamlined CMM HSA PPO 50/50 was added to keep struggling businesses on health insurance and to provide a “first base” for businesses that are currently uninsured.  Note:  this plan has fewer wellness benefits (still includes $150 mammography, Healthy Wonders, life insurance, EAP, identity theft protection and living will).  The $300 wellness benefit, $100 preventive dental, and $1,000 colonoscopy have been removed.  “
